Rappi is a delivery app that, at the time of its development, was a completely novel concept. A unique sales interface was required—unlike the typical e-commerce platforms of that era—so we iterated through countless versions, bearing in mind that users were not yet accustomed to purchasing groceries via an app.
The goal was to make the app feel like a trip to the supermarket. For example, the beverage sections were designed to resemble refrigerators, while the liquor sections mimicked display cabinets. A drag-and-drop feature was also implemented in the shopping basket to simulate the experience of grocery shopping.
Rappi was developed by Imaginamos, where I served primarily as a webmaster and, on this project, as a UX/UI designer. This application has since become a tremendous success and has rapidly expanded across Latin America, operating in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and more.
