Description.

Corferias is the largest fair and event venue in Colombia, with an average of 3 to 4 million visits per year. I worked here as the Lead Web Master, overseeing a team of 10 people, including designers, developers, and community managers. Each event or fair has its own identity, communication strategy, and website. We operated as an in-house agency, and as a team, we aimed to meet the visit and ticket sales expectations for each of these fairs.

I led the improvement of the ticket purchasing section across all subpages, focusing on enhancing the user experience. This resulted in a 15% increase in online sales within the first month. Later, in collaboration with the marketing department, we implemented strategies that boosted sales by 35%, significantly contributing to the growth of the fairs.

To achieve this, we conducted an in-depth analysis of user behavior, identifying pain points in the purchasing process and optimizing the interface for a more seamless experience. We streamlined the navigation, reduced the number of steps required to complete a purchase, and integrated personalized recommendations to increase conversion rates.
